COP2 and PAG9 were held in Geneva, Switzerland.

The second meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Minamata Convention on Mercury (COP2) was held from November 19 to 23, 2018 in Geneva, Switzerland. The ninth UNEP Global Mercury Partnership Advisory Group meeting (PAG9) was also held on November 18, 2018 at the same venue.
Sales Department Manager Hiroki Iwase took part in PAG9 and COP2 and International Operations Manager Yasuyuki Yamawake and Consultant Jun Nishida took part in COP2 on behalf of Nomura Kohsan. During this conference, Nomura Kohsan participated in Knowledge labs highlighting the importance of mercury waste management technology on Monday 19 November. Sales Department Manager Hiroki Iwase spoke on behalf of Nomura Kohsan as one of the six presenters.
Nomura Kohsan met with UNEP, UNIDO representatives and delegations from several countries and discussed the current project on mercury waste management.
Participants also visited our exhibition booth where we provided information on our mercury management business.
